This is a unique opportunity for Crisis Negotiation Teams from throughout the States of Florida and Georgia to experience both a seminar and challenge during the same event.
On Day 1, participants will attend several presentations, including “The Christmas Day Standoff,” presented by Ben Morris of Phoenix P.D. On Day 2, teams will participate in a scenario-driven negotiation challenge. Up to 10 teams (8 negotiators each) may register.
Other negotiators are encouraged to attend the seminar and the challenge for training and observation purposes. Individuals may register to be placed on an ad-hoc, multi-agency team. Judging criteria will be provided to each of the teams prior to the event. Early registration is encouraged.
A number of teams have expressed an interest in attending and we are limited in the number of teams who can participate to 10 teams of 8. Teams participating in the competition must provide at least one judge to a judging pool. Judges must have attended at least a 40-hour basic course and have at least 2 years of negotiation experience.

A special lodging rate is available for staying at the Double Tree, Jacksonville Riverfront Hotel.
